Starship Flight 14 visualized with SpaceX's Live-Stream telemetry. Many people asked if they could see a full version of the visualization we ran during our live-stream broadcast. Here you are! ❤️🚀 In this view, the fluctuation during the coast phase becomes very visible.

This should also clearly settle the argument, whether it was in orbit or not.

The coast wobble is the part the highlight reel cuts. That’s the flight.

I thought the speed was on the slow side for an orbital vehicle. Do you know exactly where the starship landed?

One thing I'll explain further in the Friday episode is something called ECEF. Earth-centered Earth-fixed. ECEF velocity is inertial velocity minus Earth's rotation. SpaceX's Speed bug on the streams is based on ECEF. So, the actual speed traveling around the planet is higher. The actual speed was ~27,860 km/h. Otherwise, it would have fallen down, which it obviously didn't. For the landing site, watch the video until the end. :)

Thanks for the answer on the orbital speed. I did watch the video til the end but my 75 year old eyes could not make out where it landed.

Super Felix! Danke an dich und dein Team. Landung war nördlich von Hawaii, ist das korrekt?

This is an awesome visualisation, thank you. 👉I’ll show it to the kids, so they understand better👍 N.b.: why don’t you prepare one with the “flight elypses” to the moon? There’s a lot of explaining to do & good visualisation helps. Cheers.

That is so cool! Kudos to all the people that worked on it! The style of it, the live extraction of telemetry, the camera work. Chef's kiss.
