Starship Booster 21 may have intentionally targeted a splashdown in the Gulf, but SpaceX used the opportunity to run a partial simulated "catch" test, as the pad deluge system was activated in sync of when the booster completed the landing burn. While the chopsticks did not move this time, this should give valuable data ahead of the first Pad 2 catch on a upcoming flight. NSF - NASASpaceflight.com |
