From watching this video + your website, I understand that it is not possible to stake ALGO if you keep your coins in a Ledger hardware wallet? Am I right? If so, are you planning to add a Ledger wallet support as well, and if so, when? @Ledger @Ledger_Support @AlgoFoundation

@Ledger @Ledger_Support @AlgoFoundation You can use @Ledger! @PeraAlgoWallet @deflyapp and @LuteWallet all support Ledger. Your $ALGO are not in the Ledger but on an account on #Algorand. Ledger just secures the access to it. When you use @ValarStaking, your $ALGO remain in your account, secured by Ledger.

I think you guys need to put out more elaborative videos on how and why people need to use different node options. Its a lil confusing in my case using Valar thru my Pera Wallet. U too focused on the technical aspects and not explaining the simple things, steps

Can you check at an explorer like if the transaction was sent by your account? If it went through, please go to where you should see your contract.

Can valar explain why node was not prepared in time ? What is going on ? Is the contract not valid ?

When doing peer to peer stake how do we claim our reward as this doesn't have anything under the details to sow when you get reward

Why exodus is not supported anymore?

It didn't seem there was a large demand for it and priority was on ensuring the main wallets used are supported and tested. But we can surely add it!

Any rewards your account produces during staking are deposited by #Algorand network directly to your account. You can monitor the performance of your account at

To start staking, simply follow the video. The only thing you need to choose is a node runners, i.e. someone around the globe who will do the technical part of staking on your behalf, all while you keep your $ALGO in your wallet at all times.

Best to select a known node runner so that you can reach out to them in case of questions about their offering. Some node runners are anonymous, some are doxxed via their .algo domain.

Is it possible to delegate my algo‘s while they are in locked in Governance ? Don‘t want to miss the Gov. Rewards ☺️ as i understand Algo‘s don‘t move so I’m correct ? Regards Alis

Yes, it is! Just make sure you have enough funds to cover the node runner's and #Algorand network's fees without falling out of governance.

@ValarStaking staking again with you guys but how do I know I'm getting rewards or how long does it take .with the pools it's a couple hours just want to make sure I'm doing correctly

Check in dashboard if your contract is live. You can monitor your account performance @alloinfo and enable notifications

Why are there different fees for the same validator ?

I delegated my stake. How can I confirm that I am receiving rewards?

You will get a transaction with rewards for each block that you produce. Block production is random and depends on your stake amount. You can check at if your address is voting as expected.

"You are not monitoring any accounts yet." Only the above message is displayed in the monitoring menu.

Please click on 'Add new' (below the message) and enter your address. You should then see your performance.

Thanks for the reply I added the address It shows information such as account, participation key, node performance, etc. I don't think there is any reward history

Tried staking on nodetoken.algo and got the Status below. If you click Archive Contract, your fee is refunded and you can choose again. The contract details disappear, so take a screenshot first. Thanks to Alexander Marinsek in the Telegram group for the support response.

Unable to stake at valar because all 19 validators are occupied ? @JohnAlanWoods what can be done ? Reti pooling will need me to send my algo over . Can valar set up more validator ??

Where can I buy some $ALGO

$ALGO can be purchased at exchanges like @coinbase, @krakenfx, @binance, etc. It is also available in @PeraAlgoWallet and @wallet_tg, or at banks like @nubank or @RevolutApp and plenty more options.

All your nodes are not accepting new users ?

Please check both the 'status' and 'occupation' columns. The node has to be 'ready' and have free space available. There are not many nodes currently, as there is a general delay with node synchronization in the network. We are resolving this.

Hey valar.can i stake on valar with pera wallet thats been rekeyed?

Yes, it should work the same way. Simply connect to Valar with your address that was rekeyed, and Pera should automatically detect that it needs to sign transactions with the address to which it was rekeyed to.

Hey @ValarStaking what does occupation mean?0/4 ,2/4,4/4,0/2 ?

Nodes on Algorand can stake for up to four accounts simultaneously. Occupation shows how many accounts are already staked on that node and how many accounts at most the node is willing to accept.
