I was that kid, reciting , praying, understanding nothing. Then I opened the tafsir and met the Lord of the Worlds: "bastard" (68:13), "childless" (108:3), "donkey carrying books" (62:5). Omnipotent, omniscient, still petty. Reciting keeps you in. Understanding gets you out 😂
