Today I vibe-coded a small but incredibly useful macOS Electron app using Cursor + GPT-5.5. I use my Mac with a Samsung monitor that has a built-in webcam. Every time I used the camera, I noticed annoying light flickering. I always assumed it was my lighting. It turns out the culprit was the anti-flicker setting. The webcam was set to 60 Hz by default, while India's power frequency is 50 Hz. That mismatch causes visible flickering under indoor lighting. Samsung doesn't provide any way to change this on the monitor, and macOS doesn't have a built-in control for it either.
