Started raining the second Eric Prydz’s intro hit and I think everyone knew the next 90 min would be an even more goated ending to Seismic Dance Event 🐐 Just a masterclass of a Prydz set with virtually nothing I heard him play the last 2 times this year

@ericprydz @SeismicTX @concourseproj @RealMusicEvents Right before his set started I told a woman standing next to me on the VIP stage, “this will be the most beautiful thing you ever see in your life.” She hugged me with tears in her eyes afterwards and told me “you were right!” I also cried. Prydz is the GOAT.

John Crotty on Kel'el Ware playing time: "A lot of teams would not treat and do what the Heat are doing Kel'el. They would continue to keep him out on the floor and maybe play him more. I think in some ways he certainly wishes that was the case. I think he's gonna learn a lot quicker the way the Heat are coaching him up and I think we'll see and explosion from him later this year and next year I think you'll see a guy whos just getting it more and more"

I’m factoring in some recency bias but Pryda 20 night 2 in Brooklyn may go down as my all-time favorite Eric Prydz show Another Prydz 2.5-hour masterclass. I had a feeling how the rest of the night would go as soon as he opened with Viro Thank you Eric Prydz for this weekend

PRX alecks: “If you win a trophy in any year, it’s a good year. We’ve attended the two big events, Toronto and Paris, and we did well in Champs, in my opinion. I think we would have lost to the two teams that are in the top three. So that means that if anything, I think we lost to better teams, and I’m very, very proud of their performance in general, especially their resilience at the start of the year. I think the fact that we still managed to stick together and go through our tough times, I think it’s a huge milestone for the team. As a group, I think I just want them to know I’m very proud of them. I thought that they improved all the way to here. Maybe this wasn’t our best performance, but also these DRX guys, we’ve played with them every year. We know how good they are. I know everyone was rating them a bit low this event, but we knew coming in that they would be one of the better teams in this event, regardless. And particularly for PatMen, I think as a rookie to come into our team, it’s a hard, hard thing to do, and I know there’s a lot of self-doubt, but I think you should look back and be proud of yourself because I think you play well throughout the year.” #VALORANTChampions via Sofia Guimarães ⋆𐙚 ̊.

I think this is the play it happened. QB sweep the left would be the 2nd to last play of OT. Just awful news for Bo Nix

Elina Svitolina on the break she took at the end of last year to refresh mentally, ‘If I didn’t stop.. if I kept pushing last year.. I wouldn’t start here. I would be exhausted. I’m not even sure if I would be injury free’ “You’ve talked quite a bit about the break you took last year to refresh mentally, I’m curious, was that an easy decision or a difficult decision?” Elina: “It was a difficult decision on one hand. But then I spoke with my team. I spoke with Gael. I spoke with my family and we found also a bunch of positives for it. I think I mentioned already earlier a couple days back that if I didn’t stop.. if I kept pushing last year.. I wouldn’t start here. I would be exhausted. I’m not even sure if I would be injury free. When you play at the highest level and you push yourself and you are on the edge, this is where the injuries happen. This is where the tension is just too much and your body gives up. For me it was important to just step back. I’m very happy I did that. Now it’s easy to say because the results have been great, with winning Auckland and playing well here… but I still think it’s something that helped me. Now of course I have no regrets to take this time. I don’t know how I would be if I would lose first round or play bad… but now of course, it’s worked for me.” (via Australian Open Press)

Elon’s final closing remarks at the World Economic Forum. “Well I think generally, I think my last words would be… I would encourage everyone to be optimistic and excited about the future. And generally I think for quality of life, it is actually better to err on the side of being an optimistic and wrong, than be a pessimistic and right.” I 100% AGREE!!!

Will this year be different for Cowboys? Danny Parkins weighs in: “I do expect this year to be different than the last couple. I think they’re going to be really good. I think it will have almost nothing to do with the leadership council and probably have to do with the talent.”

#SpanishGP 🇪🇸 | Lewis Hamilton on what has changed in his life from last year to this year: “A lot has changed. Last year was not a good year at all in so many ways… But, [there’s] more harmony within the team. I think I'm fitter, I'm healthier, I'm in a better place personally, I've arrived with a much better attitude, I'd say even a better attitude than I started last year. No injuries like I started last year.” “I’m driving a car that I’ve helped develop as opposed to last year [where] I inherited a car that I had nothing to do with. It’s a new era that I also prefer. So, a combination of things and I'm just happier in my life as well.”

Brian Windhorst believes Norman Powell deserves to be an All Star: "I'll give you a guy if he made the team would play full speed, Norman Powell. He wanted to make it so bad last year... He's having a better year with the Heat. Look, I know the Heat are in the play in right now, they've had a lot of stuff go on with this roster, Norm has been a vital piece going forward. He has had a remarkable career and if nothing else he has proven to have a All Star mindset and i think he should be rewarded"
