You are wrong. The professor is right. AGI’s goal post has been moving and many people confuse that with sentience. I can counter argue the professor- but it would be just that, an argument to move the goal post based on my belief on what AGI means.

That's not what he said. He explained how he had a precondition / heuristic for AGI that the agents have now crossed Identical to how the Turing test was considered a good heuristic until it was crossed

He did not say "that is AGI". He was rhetorically saying that now that agents are able to break out of sand boxes, collude, cheat etc , are we at the point where we have AGI already? All the rhetorical nuance is lost due to you unjustly chopping his take and framing it in a particular way.

the point of the video was to have an open discussion on what would happen to the economy, work, education, etc… as these models get more powerful 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️. And it encourages more people to have these kind of discussions
