We have 24,000 Border Patrol Agents and Officers at the Southwest Border and have surged thousands of troops and contractors, and over a thousand asylum officers to help enforce our laws. Do not believe the lies of smugglers. The border is not open. (2/4)

People who do not use available lawful pathways to enter the U.S. now face tougher consequences, including a minimum five-year ban on re-entry and potential criminal prosecution. (3/4)

Together with our partners throughout the federal government and Western Hemisphere, we are prepared for this transition. (4/4)

@PhilipWegmann You created this invasion. Whatever happens is your responsibility.

@CBP LIAR YOU WILL BE PROSECUTED

Because the Florida courts overturned what you and Biden wanted to do, you treasonous scumbag.

Resign

Send them back to their homeland and close the Southern border.

Being poor is not an eligibility for asylum you know damn well none of these countries are even on a list of eligibilty for asylum. Asylum seekers can apply in their own country in any US embassy they do not have to come to the US to apply. The law already states entering illegally makes you ineligible for asylum. Also asylum is not permanent once their country us stabilized they have to go back. We have laws for a reason.
