State Trooper pulls firearm on county cop disrupting traffic stop. Intense verbal conflict begins. A New Jersey State Police trooper was patrolling the express lanes of the New Jersey Turnpike near the Vince Lombardi Service Area. He spotted a black Dodge Caravan equipped with police strobes that had pulled... over a civilian motorist on the shoulder. Because the State Police hold primary jurisdiction over the Turnpike, the trooper pulled up to assist. However, as he approached, he noticed a man standing outside the van wearing a tactical ballistic vest—but absolutely no visible police badge or identification. Oklahoma sheriff department and local PD have a blow up while out on a call. The conflict began when a Lexington Police officer pulled over a black SUV for speeding (85 mph in a 55 mph zone). The driver was Cleveland County Sheriff Chris Amason, who was in a marked vehicle but was out of uniform. Amason informed the officer he was responding to a high-priority "SWAT call" involving a barricaded subject and an injured officer in the nearby town of Noble. The Lexington officer allowed the Sheriff to proceed but immediately notified his Chief. When Lexington Police Chief Ronnie Johnson and his officers arrived at the active tactical scene to offer assistance and investigate why their local police hadn't been notified of an operation in their jurisdiction, the situation escalated. Lieutenant John Szymanski of Cleveland County Sheriff's Office confronted the Lexington officers, telling them to "get the f*** out of my face." A physical scuffle broke out between Lieutenant Szymanski and a Lexington officer. Szymanski is seen grabbing and shoving the officer while shouting, "This is my county!" This morning, we lost one of our very finest when Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Michael Pahira died in the line of duty in Schuylkill County. I just left Lehigh Valley Hospital – Schuylkill where I spent time with Mike's parents, Patti and Mike, his sister, Jen, and some of his friends and fellow troopers. They told me about Mike — about how great a man he was, about his high school wrestling record, his love of cooking, and his commitment to caring for his mother as she battles cancer. Trooper Pahira was the very best of us — Lori and I are praying for the PA State Police family and our local law enforcement partners after losing another one of their own. I’ve directed flags across the Commonwealth to be lowered to half-staff in honor of Trooper Pahira. May his memory forever be a blessing.

His brother came over to talk to the officer and stop him from attacking his brother for no obvious reason. The officer then turned and started punching the brother in the face. BREAKING: Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office releases bodycam footage of one of its officers shooting and killing U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Roger Fortson. Police had responded to a "disturbance" call and knocked on the wrong door. According to Fortson's girlfriend who was on a FaceTime call with him, Fortson had no clue what was going on when he heard a knock at the door. NEW: Four ski-masked teens killed after stealing a car and getting into a high speed chase with law enforcement who hit their car, wrapping it around a pole. According to the police, the car got up to 111 mph. The car was so mangled that it took first responders a whopping 90 minutes to get the teens out. 2 teens died at the scene and the other 2 died in the hospital. They were 14 - 16 years old and went to a local high school in Gainsville, Florida. One of the boy's brothers was shot and killed in a separate incident last month. "The Trooper made intentional contact with the Honda, causing it to decelerate," Highway Patrol said in a statement.
