@statedeptspox Thanks to @US_SrAdvisorAF @StateDept for your great effort to restore peace in the great lake region. The barbaric regime of Rwanda must be held accountable for their crimes against humanity!!! 30 years of bloodshed and human rights violations is beyond inhumane. NO TO IMPUNITY!

@statedeptspox

This is definitely a milestone, but let’s be honest — true peace takes political will at the highest level. I would’ve rather seen President Kagame @PaulKagame and President Tshisekedi @FelixUdps themselves at the table, signing this with full accountability. That’s the kind of moment that signals real, lasting commitment — not just technical progress. Let’s hope that step comes next.

Very encouraging news. But the stakes are still high. Both DRC and Rwanda have a lot of unresolved issues that emanated from colonial boundaries. And to make it more complicated, the remnants of Rwanda’s 1994 genocide are still operating as a rebel group in the DRC. One step at a time. Bravo peace agreement.

@statedeptspox 🇺🇸great news!

@statedeptspox American mediation is effective

@statedeptspox I have an idea, how about you worry about American citizens, enough with sending our taxes to them they countries. bS

Mr @SecRubio please get rid of this lady asap otherwise she will destroy your policies because she has her own policies. The most senior journalist from Pakistan in this room is being ignored while you and the President had two engagements with the Pakistan. She is not doing any favor to your government or American 🙏
