Respect Muslims & don't treat Muslims as mere Vote Bank. 18 out of 19 MLAs that Congress has won in Assam are Muslims. 18 of the 20 Muslims fielded by Congress have won. Only 1 out of the other 79 non-Muslims fielded by Congress has won. Kerala has elected 35 Muslim MLAs in an assembly of 140 and 30 are from Congress led UDF alliance. 8 Congress MLAs are Muslims and all 22 of Ally Indian Union Muslim League MLAs are Muslims. Congress won 2 seats in West Bengal and both of them are Muslims from Muslim majority seats. In Tamil Nadu, Congress nominated 2 Muslims out of which 1 has won. Visited Courtyard by Marriott Aravali Resort over the weekend - and honestly, quite disappointed. The property itself has immense potential - beautifully designed with a great gym, spa, pool, and lots of recreation areas. It could easily be a Westin-level resort. They even have a huge cricket ground with flood lights, and a functional hydroponics farm that caters to inhouse restaurants. But sadly, the staff, housekeeping, and management make sure it stays firmly in the Courtyard category. Service is poor, maintenance is below par, and the overall experience just doesn’t live up to the space’s promise. I went with a medium level expectations, and was blown away by the looks of property at the rate at which it is offered (13k/night or 18K Marriott Bonvoy points / night), and it just went downhill from there. Positives : ✅ Big Pool for both Kids/Adults ✅ Elite status recognition : 1 Level Auto upgrade + Complimentary Breakfast for GOLD status. ✅ Complimentary Hi-Tea ✅ Well maintained greens and beautiful landscaping. Negatives : ❌ Service was slow and required reminder(s). ❌ In-room dining was slow and served cold food. ❌ Entire Beer stock was expiring in 4 days !! wtf ? ❌ Housekeeping service was very shabby. ❌ Lot of recreational activities were out of service They’ve got a gem of a property right next to Delhi-NCR, but it feels like they’re wasting a golden opportunity to create something truly special. ☹️ These are all fixable issues with better management. Great thread. It’s been really disappointing how the club has sought to characterise all this this week. There has been no offer to take three years of price rises off the table and while that stays there that particular discussion is kicked into 2029. No one *wants* to protest but if club management wave away any further discussion on the matter, it’s inevitable. If today’s protest is supported well then things will likely escalate. And all for what? £1.2m? We’re not making it up that people are angry and pissed off - they are. They want LFC to do it differently - to lead the way on protecting supporter culture instead of enabling other clubs to continue the race to make match-going only something for the richest.
