Honoring the Memory of Steven Sotloff, of Blessed Memory Today, we remember Steven Sotloff, a courageous Jewish journalist whose life was tragically taken by ISIS a decade ago. His bravery and dedication to truth continue to inspire us. The greatest tribute we can offer is to ensure that terrorist groups like ISIS, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and their ilk are eradicated. Our mission is clear: to make this world safer for all—except those who seek to destroy it through terror. Who stands with us in this fight?

State terror is happening in plain sight. @WilliamsRuto and @kipmurkomen if you can unleash to kill your own Kalenjin people over land, what mercy should the rest of Kenya expect? Greed knows no tribe. @WilliamsRuto's tyranny knows no limits.

The survey should include the community. It's something they should be aware of. If there are any differences, let the be settled before the exercise.

We, people of Transmara, we will never allow corrupt cartels to grab the land we have lived through blood and tears. If more blood is needed for our people to live peacefully, we are ready to give the ultimate sacrifice to defend our land. Tell your boss, tamaa yake tumekataa

When a regime causes the fire, then comes with a bucket for the cameras, we are not fooled. If you truly respected lives, you'd have involved the people before sending surveys and guns, not after counting bodies. Spare us the PR.

Today, 14th April 2025, we have just concluded an expanded security council meeting comprising security chiefs and local government chairmen, convened in response to the attack that came to our attention early this morning. At around midnight, into the early hours of today, over a hundred bandits descended on one of the communities in Bassa Local Government Area, leaving behind a trail of destruction numerous lives lost and several houses destroyed. We have received detailed briefings from the heads of the various security agencies regarding the incident. We are working diligently to establish exactly what happened and why, so that we can respond appropriately and prevent such incidents in the future. At the moment, the situation in the area is relatively calm. We have engaged with the affected community, urging the people to remain calm and avoid any retaliatory actions that could further escalate tensions. We are grateful that the youths of the community listened to our appeal. We are currently considering far-reaching decisions aimed at preventing future occurrences. The details of some of these decisions will be shared during my broadcast tomorrow. In the meantime, I want to reassure the people of Plateau State that we are firmly in control of the situation, and we will go to any length necessary to prevent a recurrence. I also want to encourage citizens across the state: if you come across any intelligence no matter how insignificant it may seem please report it to the authorities. We are committed to protecting the sources of information, ensuring that no life is at jeopardy. We recognize that without timely and sufficient intelligence, we cannot respond as effectively as needed. By God’s grace, we are working to strengthen our capacity for intelligence gathering. Meanwhile , we continue to pray that God will comfort the families of those who lost their lives in this tragic incident.

Listen👂🏾: An audibly frustrated SAPS Spokesperson Athlenda Mathe slams Sunday Times for leaking affidavits in on going cases. MEDIA STATEMENT FROM THE SOUTH AFRICAN POLICE SERVICE (SAPS) To: All media SAPS urges journalists and media houses(The Sunday Times) not to publish leaked affidavits in ongoing drug related investigations : Witnesses and their families lives are now at risk Pretoria, 19 April 2026; The South African Police Service (SAPS) Gauteng Counter Intelligence Operation has noted with serious concern the circulation and publication of leaked affidavits linked to ongoing investigations into drug related criminal networks in the country. Today, the SAPS noted such publication in the front page of "The Sunday Times" newspaper where certain Djs information and pictures were published. While the SAPS recognises and respects the vital role played by the media in promoting accountability and uncovering the truth, we urge all media houses(especially the Sunday Times), journalists, social media content creators to exercise responsibility and restraint in handling such sensitive information. The publication or dissemination of leaked affidavits especially those containing details of witnesses, informants, and evidence poses a direct and dangerous risk to the safety and lives of individuals who have come forward to assist police investigations. Its not only the Witnesses lives at risk but their families too. These individuals who are witnesses in senstive and high profile cases often do so under conditions of trust to the police. Furthermore, the premature release of such information has the potential to compromise ongoing investigations and alert criminals on police ongoing investigations. We would like to emphasize that the protection of witnesses and their families is of critical importance to the work of the police. We therefore urge members of the media, especially "The Sunday Times" to act in the interest of the lives and the families of witnesses and avoid publishing leaked affidavits and their personal information. We also make a call to some lawyers, attorneys and advocates working on these high profile cases not to leak information to the media and use that information solely to prepare for trial ready cases. We also make an appeal to social media users to also refrain from making unnecessary speculations and naming witnesses on cases, as witnesses lives are at risk.
