A full rehearsal day was held on Friday, August 14. The free event spans the lakefront from Fullerton Avenue to Oak Street, centered at North Avenue Beach

A long time ago I was fishing on the lakefront on the rehearsal day. A B-52 flew by and he tipped the plane just a bit to say hello to me and a few other fishermen.
