Adverts like this were scary as kids....but they worked. Woke brigade would be in uproar.

very hard hitting, but the shock factor is needed. Everything is too wrapped in Cotton now for kids to understand the dangers.

They showed us this in primary school along with others including the rail safety one!! Scared the shit out of everyone!! Must have worked as it was about 40 years ago and it’s imprinted in my brain!!
