Ana Sayfaya Dön

Stayed up late until 2am yesterday to write a simple video cropping app because macOS surprisingly doesn't provide a quick way to do that. Anyone else needs something like this? If yes, I'll polish it a bit and put it as a free app in Mac App Store

Fighting with some crashes and codec issues before I can upload the app to Testflight. I got strong support now so it should be ready soon. Please register your interests for the app in the form. I’ll send out Testflight invite/Download link soon

I have a build ready for the first release. It's very basic but it's working. Please give it a try and let me know how it is working for you

Instead of cropping an image with CMD + Shift + 4 you can record the screen or select a part of the screen simply using CMD + Shift + 5 👌

Quick time player already has this. It’s quick, easy & free.

The built-in Snapshot app allows you to capture both video and pictures, crop the screen or select a window, with an optional timer. Cmd+shift+4 and cmd+Shift+5 actually invoke this app.

Getting a common aspect ratio selector in there would be great – often the reason for cropping is to make something 9:16 for social media, or square, etc.
