No amount of money is worth missing that moment. Working from home for 21 years while the kids were growing up has been the biggest blessing of my life. I had opportunities to take much bigger roles to give all of that up for money. It wasn't worth it and I passed on those opportunities. Now I'm getting older and those opportunities will still be there in different forms. But the memories with your kids - you only get that one chance!! Make the most of your opportunities to do that Kings. My wife actually lost her job with her employer because they tried to renege on a plan she had given them way WAAAY in advance to be off one morning for my youngest Son's Halloween parade at school. This was years ago. They had approved it then suddenly the night before, said she couldn't take it. Then they were complete assholes about it too when she attempted to discuss it. They were also totally ridiculous, stupid, and committed some egregious flagrancies tbh. She called me in tears, and I told her, why are you working there anyway?? F*ck them. I never wanted her to take that job. She quit right then and there and never went back. Another win because she has stayed home ever since and life hasn't been better. My kids get straight A's, they're good humans, and all of our futures have never looked brighter. Because my kids were raised by both of us being involved and active in their lives.

But what if you're working late to close a huge deal? Imagine how much happier your daughter will be when she finds out that her dad is rich and can pay for her college
