Tip! I just found this out, thanks to the birds for making me aware this was a thing. If you input dash then do parry to get drive rush you will only use 1 bar of drive gauge, instead of roughly 1.3-1.5. (If you see the parry it uses more)

A small fix bladed knife is an excellent addition to a pistol. Having it where you can access it with both hands is a lesson I learned the first time I had to fight in kit. The purpose is to get back to your pistol or make space so you can draw if someone is on top of you. Keeping it in a comfortable location will make you less likely to leave it at home, it doesn’t need to be a Bowie, just big enough to suit the role.

Part of the reason IT people are being laid off is that many of their abilities can be replaced by AI. In the past, the joke was that you would just google it, but that still required some IT knowledge. Now, you can ask AI how to fix an issue and it will walk you through how to fix most things. (if you have admin permissions to your computer) To be fair, no one knows all the weird nuances and issues that can arise with software so google has always been used to find IT fixes - but it took more research and knowing how to implement the fix before.

It seems iOS 26 no longer uses _UIRemoteView on extensions, instead everything is using _UIScenePresentationView now. Interestingly, there appears to be some black magic that allows keyboard focus to still working fine on iOS 27, so there’s probably some way to fix it in LiveContainer multitask without introducing any sort of proxying input. Demo below shows LiveProcess scene injected to the file picker sheet.

IT WORKS!!! WINDOWS 95 IN THE BROWSER 🤯👌 THANK YOU @lavenderleaf86 + Roberto for helping me to figure it out!!! I had to type > boot -l c instead of > c: > boot It booted Windows 95 in the browser now, display is stuck to 16 colors and low reso but it works! Now next is get dial up working Also it crashed when I tried to run DOOM 2 so I need to see how to fix that

my angel investor pulled a knife on me and my friends because we wouldn't pay him $657 for lunch after he finally let us into his house it was the next day so he cooked us lunch and then charged us $657 for it we laughed and told him there was no fucking way we were paying that so he pulled out a knife on us, took our phones and blocked us from leaving and told us nobody was going anywhere until he was satisfied I genuinely couldn't tell if he finally lost his mind or was this another test…

If you're holding the stick, ready to run, he stops and then immediately starts running again, which causes this fraction-of-a-second pause in the animation. You can see it twice in this video - the first time when he enters the hut and pauses on the green carpet, and then again when he exits onto the deck. Ideally, if the player is holding the stick when the cutscene ends, Zayd won't come to a standstill, but instead will transition seamlessly from cutscene-running to player-controlled running. it's such a tiny visual glitch, and on its own not worth the 15 mins it will take me to fix it. I might even decide to not fix it after all. But this for me is a classic example of "polish"$
