I still remember in 2018 i lost my phone, forget the recovery code and forget the email password. can't login steam because using mobile auth, luckily still remember the phone number. I contact the support and yeah it's done in few day lol

I once tried trading an Assassin's Creed 3 digital code for another game in a trading forum and I got scammed. When I told the Ubisoft rep and showed pictures, they took the game from their account and gave it back to me. So that was pretty cool.

Steam might even come personally and hand over the account based on how it feels. They once returned my account within an hour. I don't know who was there, but I respect them.

Someone hacked my account without me knowing and changed the email for months. Half a year later i try to log in and realize, so i messaged steam support and had my account back in like 6 hours☠️

Steam was like the first to force 2 step verification like years ago. It was so annoying logining in to my email just to get the code. It use to always piss me off that I couldn't just login. Then discord started doing it when you change location. Now everything does and I 2 step everything. It isnt as annoying anymore cause I can open up my email anytime nowadays
