The pitcher went off against the Mets after being drafted by them throwing 7 shutout innings with 9 strikeouts.

U.S. Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth has signed a Memorandum, once again renaming Fort Liberty in North Carolina, formerly Fort Bragg, back to Fort Bragg, but instead of having the Namesake of the Base be Confederate Civil War General Braxton Bragg, it will instead be named after Private First Class Roland L. Bragg, a World War II Hero who earned the Silver Star and Purple Heart for his Exceptional Courage during the Battle of the Bulge.

Breaking: Fort Bragg has officially been renamed to Fort Liberty because “liberty remains the greatest American value,” according to Retired U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Ty Seidule. Fort Bragg was named after General Braxton Bragg of the Confederate Army. The Confederates lost the war to the United States, so in my opinion there is no reason why we should name our military bases after the people we defeated. Do you support the name change? Are you for or against renaming our military installations that have previously been named after Confederate generals?
