💖✨ WORLD TOUR LIVE : USA… ✨💖 Final update 🥹💖💕 I finally received the photocards that were missing from my order! 💖💖💕💞 This time, they arrived complete, so I’m genuinely very happy and relieved 🥹💖💞 Of course, there are still a few stressful issues that were never really resolved, especially everything regarding the customs charges. There was also another item missing from my package, but I was told that it was most likely related to customs. At this point, I’ve decided to leave it as it is, mainly because this whole situation has been emotionally exhausting 🥹 I finally have the items I really wanted, and anything else that is missing, I can simply buy again later 💖 I’m very happy to finally have everything, but after this experience, I personally wouldn’t order from the Lezhin website again. Even for this replacement shipment (or rather, the shipment of the missing items), they still didn’t provide me with a tracking number 😅 Thankfully, this time I didn’t have to pay any additional taxes or customs fees, so at least my package could be received normally. That made the whole process a little less stressful 🥹💕 I know some people are still waiting for their missing items to be shipped, so I’ll continue keeping an eye on the situation in case anything important happens. But as for my own case, I think this will be my final update. For my own peace of mind, I really need to leave it here 😅💖 I’ve already had so many problems with different shipping companies and packages over the past two months that I’m honestly exhausted. Woot woot! THE BIG DAY IS HERE. Eddie AI v2! Download it: It’s been a sprint pace to cover a marathon distance. We launched Eddie AI v1 in October last year. Thousands of new users. Lots of feature requests. Learned a ton. (Yes, Paul Graham is right: ship early and often!) Eddie AI v2 releases three big advancements. And underpinning those decisions are the learnings baked in. 1. Eddie now runs locally on Macs and Windows. Our native apps are out of beta and available to everyone. Video is large. The video files used by video professionals are even larger. No one wants to wait around uploading. Native applications make it MUCH MUCH faster to import and thus much faster to get on with editing. One of the challenges with Eddie is how do we *quickly* get the user to aha – that moment where they can see the magic of this assistant AI video editor – if it takes awhile to upload files. These native applications are a big step towards getting to aha, swiftly, and help deliver on our promise to save customers time. 2. Analyze raw footage, aka logging interviews and B-rolls. Eddie v1 only created edits. But users were asking for a step before the edit too. They want their footage logged – what happened in this shot, who said what, etc – and grouped logically with this metadata back in their video editing application. We released a test of this a month ago. Users were blown away by the accuracy of the AI, the rich descriptions, and how the metadata seamlessly is sent to their video editing application where they can find the right shot when they need. We were blown away by the usage of this feature. Logging is now updated and released to all in v2. 3. Rough cut mode. This is the big dream: Eddie is the AI assistant video editor. There’s a lot of tedious work in video editing. Eddie takes it on. And helps you get to a great story faster. Sorting through hours of interviews and finding great soundbites that can be cut together to form a coherent story is a big step toward this dream. We attempted to do this in v1. But the prompt box was too open ended. People were typing in things like “Cut me a great story” and the subjectivity of the statement led to variable results. So we re-thought the story crafting process. We added friction. YES you read that correctly. We added friction into the product that slows the customer down. BUT they get much better results, reliably. And that trade-off is well worth it. Eddie now takes a step-by-step approach with you on crafting your story. It aligns with you on the story framework and then cuts chapter by chapter with your feedback. What used to take days, now takes minutes. We spent months hacking at LLMs to make them able to provide coherent edits over a longer duration and handle a large amount of source material (aka context-window problem). It’s ready for release. 🐿 Honestly speaking, about the “All crew, take your positions!” line - I’m not sure if ATINYs actually like hearing that, but to be real, I used to think it was kind of cringy when we said it at concerts. But now, whenever we do it, it just feels right - it fits the concept so well, and I really like it. “All crew, take your positions!”~~ 🐿 But honestly - I’m only saying this now, after 7 years - you guys were never actually the crew who had to scrub the deck. You were the crew who just stood on the deck enjoying the view. 🐿️ Actually, the deck is cleaned by the captain! That’s right - the captain scrubs the deck, our members row the oars, and ATINY, our crew, just watches the scenery. Like, “Oh, look, a whale is passing by! A dolphin! That island looks so pretty~” That’s all you have to do - just watch and enjoy. 🐿️ And sometimes, when we meet some bad pirates - well, bad pirates? No, we’re not bad pirates ourselves, we’re good pirates. Then are we vigilantes? Anyway, if we ever run into really bad pirates, even when we tell you, “Don’t step forward, stay behind us,” you still jump in to fight together with us. Right? You’re all just like us, aren’t you?! 🐿️ Then the captain comes out like, “Hey, hey, wait, wait, wait! Okay, okay, I get it, I understand your hearts. My time on the RTFKT Creators team has come to an end. I’m forever thankful to Franco and the rest of the creator team who carved out a “Creator In Residence” role for me knowing how much this creator ecosystem meant to me. As a creator who came into this space knowing nothing about digital avatar content creation, to have had the chance to push myself even further with projects like Animus Logs or the MK Pill Recap video has been a true blessing. I’m the biggest fan of Clones and my passion has always been for experimenting and sharing what’s been possible with them, so naturally being on a team that encouraged me to continue to do that has been a dream come true. But if you know me, you know the thing I’ve cared about above all is the family of creators that have poured their hearts into this project. I’ve had the most unforgettable life experiences connecting with all of you in real life and this network of genuinely awesome people is the one magical experience that I would do anything to help share. Words can’t explain it, but to be able to find friends in Tokyo, a younger brother in Germany, an older brother in Korea, a family in Los Angeles, future friends in Australia, it’s been an adventure of a lifetime that I’m so grateful for and it’s an experience that I think has true value in this shallow web3 world. These people are really just the coolest, and I’m proud to call them friends. To be able to play a part on the team and help with any of the efforts to push it all forward, whether it was organizing virtual/irl meetups, planning creator challenges, concepting ways to reward and highlight creators, or just going the extra step to connect personally, has been my honor and I’m proud to have given it my best.
