Friends! Ralphy and I had WORDS. We’ve always had DISCUSSIONS from time-to-time. Ralphy pushes it sometimes but I always put him back in his place. No different this time. Mum didn’t see what started this. Was it something to do with the Christmas Tree or the Kittens? On another note, Mum wishes to apologise for not having much time to respond to messages at the moment. As well as the usual Christmas busyness, she is playing Mrs Cratchet in A Christmas Carol 🎭 🎄

This woman lives in an HOA. The back of her yard backs up into an easement that is owned by the HOA. The trees back there are on the easement. She points out that there are fallen branches all over her neighbors yard because of the trees and there were many in her yard as well. So she and her children went and picked up all the branches and sticks in her yard and then she piled them up under the tree. She said since the tree is on the HOA easement, it’s their problem. She wants to know if she is the bad guy in all this. If it were me, I’d maintain my yard and put the branches and sticks out for the trash pickup. Do you think she is in the right and it’s the HOA’s problem? Or do you think she is wrong and is making a mountain out of a molehill and there are better hills to plant your flag on?

So I took charge. At one point, Mum popped up to check on us and found this scene, which made her shed a tear. We wish we could have taken you all with us - especially as some of you are poorly and can’t get out to enjoy Christmas Events. A heated exchange unfolded in Viola, Wisconsin (Richland County), when Sergeant Chris Schildgen of the Richland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a local neighbor dispute. According to the deputy, a neighbor called law enforcement alleging that the female resident inside threw feminine hygiene pads across their driveway. When Sgt. Schildgen arrived at the home, he repeatedly requested that the resident open her storm door to speak with him. The woman declined to open the door or step outside forcing the sergeant to dig into every trick he has in his bag of tricks. She informed the officer that her home security cameras had captured the entire incident, but she refused to hand over the footage without a formal search warrant ("Get the warrant from my camera"). Schildgen warned her that she was facing a charge for disorderly conduct, telling her she needed to turn herself in to the Richland County Jail or face an arrest warrant. Under the law, lower-level misdemeanor allegations or ordinance violations do not give officers authority to force entry into a private residence, leaving officers to pursue charges via a court summons or warrant instead. As the resident continued to assert her rights from behind the closed door, the situation escalated when Schildgen lost his temper, demanding she "Open the f***ing door!" before eventually walking away as she laughed at his comment. It's comical at times how some of these officers lose their cool when their egos get crushed in this type of fashion.
