@SnoozeActive @StephLunch That is great. I genuinely thought Charles was going to run the monarchy different but no, he is proving as entitled as all of them

@StephLunch If you are ok financially great. If you don't care about other people's children growing up with nothing - how much do you really care about this country, how can you call yourself a patriot?

@StephLunch The Crown Jewels are not owned by RF but held by the Crown Estate for the benefit of the nation. Yes they could be sold - probably take an Act of Parliament. It is in the hands of the Govt. £58 BILLION lost to fraud/error. £500m to France; £79m to Brazil. Where is outrage?

@StephLunch This was just short of bullying the Baroness. The lunchmate got it 100% right. Get angry with the government. Our royal family are not cash rich as people think they are. They are not multi billionaires. Charles has spent a lot of his money to help with a lot of causes in the UK.

@StephLunch I wonder what the coronation would’ve looked like if the Royals had been told to pay for it themselves? 🤔

@pete_sinclair @StephLunch St Edward’s crown, dripping with jewels, is made of solid gold. It is used purely for the placing on the head of the monarch, and is then substituted for another obscenely expensive alternative. It was made in 1661, and has been used 7 times. Why?

@StephLunch Steph isn’t wrong! When even one child is to eat food from a foodbank, we should never have had that disgusting lavish spectacle at the weekend.
