Stephen A Smith asks Abdul El-Sayed about Hasan "Is there anything Hasan Piker could say that would make you publicly disavow him, considering what he has said about the Jewish community?" "I mean sure but the bigger question is this, how do we want to exchange ideas? And the...

Abdul El-Sayed doesn't even know what the federal budget is, yet he wants to spend 4 TRILLION DOLLARS on medicare-for-all. JESSE WATTERS: "I don't want you guys to blow the country up. Do you know how much the federal budget is now?" ABDUL EL-SAYED: "No. Neither do I. Pete Hegseth --" JESSE WATTERS: "Answer the question. Do you know what the federal budget is for?" ABDUL EL-SAYED: "I just want to talk about this. You want to talk about budgets. I'm happy to do that. The guy who used to work on your channel, I think he was the sixth host on that five. He wanted to raise our military budget to $1.5 trillion, and you don't seem to be upset about that. So we can fight we don't know how to get out of to raise our gas prices five dollars a gallon? That doesn't make sense to me, Jesse." From there the ad hominens started coming in. JESSE WATTERS "I have a feeling, Abdul, you don't even know how much money the government spends every year. Do you know?" ABDUL EL-SAYED: "Look, the question, Jesse, to me --" JESSE WATTERS: "Alright, so you don't know. Let me tell you what it is. It's $7 trillion a year, and your plan to take over the health care system is four trillion." ABDUL-EL SAYED: "To exactly your point --" JESSE WATTERS: "I'm not very good at math, I don't think you're very good at math either. Go ahead." ABDUL EL-SAYED: "Clearly. Clearly you don't. And you don't seem to care, but I don't think most Americans want to spend that much money on military escapades so that the folks stranded on the USS Abraham Lincoln can even get a sausage for breakfast, because I just think that we could do a whole lot better with our money. And I think that's where you and I --" JESSE WATTERS: "Yeah, I disagree. I think if you spend $4 trillion, everything else is going to get really expensive."

WATCH: Bernie Sanders, speaking out of both sides against his mouth, says he's uncomfortable with Abdul El-Sayed's closeness to Hasan Piker given his statement that America deserved 9/11. Bernie dismisses as a "dumb statement" inevitable in a lengthy stream and calls for getting above cancel culture. Bernie says if James Carville doesn't like the party of Piker, El-Sayed and Sanders, he can "start his own party." AIPAC, AI, "we need a big tent" and "people like Piker should be welcomed into that, certainly." ABBY PHILLIP: Let me ask you about one of those campaign events, because just last night, um, the popular but very controversial streamer Hasan Piker was at one of El-Sayed's final events. The two did a stream together, a fairly lengthy stream. I know that you've spoken to Hasan Piker in the past, but are you comfortable with El-Sayed having a close association with him, given some of his past statements? To give you an example, one of the more controversial ones is that Piker has said America deserved 9/11. Are you comfortable with that association? BERNIE SANDERS: No, I am not. I think that's a dumb statement. On the other hand, he has a whole lot of followers and there's a lot of things that he's saying that are making sense to a lot of people. I think, you know, we have to get above cancel culture. You know, when you're doing radio, whatever they do- podcasts three hours a day, you say dumb things. I suspect if you go back over your career, there may be 1 or 2 things that you said that you may have regretted. But I think what we have got to do is look at the totality of where people are coming from. Uh, and go forward. PHILLIP: So when someone like James Carville says he doesn't want to be in the same political party as Hasan Piker, which one are you going to take? SANDERS: Well, that's not much of a choice. If Mr. Carville doesn't want to be in my party, the party that I belong to, that Piker, that El-Sayed belongs to, he can start his own party. But, uh, you know, look. What we are doing now is, you know, you can turn the tables around and say, do you really want to be in a party where your leadership is taking huge amounts of money from AIPAC, which is supporting an extremist Netanyahu government that many of us believe have committed genocide? Do you want to be in a party with people who do that? Do you want to be in a party which has not stood up to the AI industry, because they got a lot of money from AI or from crypto? So you could pick, you know, you could pick whatever you want to pick. But I think we need a big tent and I think people like Piker should be welcomed into that, certainly.

Stephen A. Smith was in shock when an unhinged James Carville admitted that he has Trump Derangement Syndrome — and said he doesn’t want to get better: “I just want to get WORSE!” Smith pushed back hard when Carville claimed that President Trump doesn’t like America. SMITH: “Do you believe there is such a thing on the left as Trump Derangement Syndrome? Which is what the right accuses people of, do you believe that exists?” CARVILLE: “Can I say something to the people that accuse Democrats of having Trump Derangement Syndrome?” “I got it, and I got it BAD!” “And I don’t want to get better, I just want to get worse!” SMITH: “You want to get worse, James?” CARVILLE: “This is a condition that I’m not trying to get rid of.” SMITH: “Why not?!” CARVILLE: “Make my disease worse!” SMITH: “Why, why James, why do you want to make the disease worse?!” “Trump Derangement Syndrome, why do you want to make that worse?!” CARVILLE: “Because in my opinion, he doesn’t like the United States.” “He doesn’t like our laws, he doesn’t like our allies, he doesn’t like our treaties, he doesn’t like the fact that we’re an inclusive country, that is built in a large part on immigration…” Smith eventually had heard enough and fired back at Carville. SMITH: “Okay, how do you feel about people who say the same thing about the left because of some of the stuff that we were seeing with woke culture, cancel culture, identity politics?” “What about that?!”

🚨President Trump announced that there might be a high-level meeting with Zelenskyy as early as this weekend, but didn’t specify if he would participate, and once again reiterated that UA should hold elections right now (note: it’s against the constitution to hold elections during the martial law, also it’s simply not safe, and UA society is widely opposed to the idea). TRUMP: “They would like us to go to a meeting over the weekend, in Europe, and we’ll make a determination depending on what they come back with. We don’t wanna be wasting time. Sometimes you have to let people fight it out, and sometimes you don’t. But the problem with letting people fight it out is you’re losing thousands of people a week. It’s ridiculous. The whole thing is ridiculous.” Q: “And when you say that the European leaders want to have a meeting over the weekend, are you talking about with Zelenskyy or with them?” TRUMP: “With Zelenskyy and us.” Q: “And you said in an interview yesterday that you think it’s time for Zelenskyy to start accepting things. What things are you talking about?” TRUMP: “Well, I think he has to be realistic. And I do wonder about how long is it gonna be till they have an election. You know, for a democracy, it’s a long time. They haven’t had an election in a long time. There was a poll that came out, 82% of the people are demanding a settlement be made, Ukrainian people. They wanna see a settlement be made. I understand that. They’re losing thousands and thousands of people a week. They wanna see it ended. And I do say at what point, when do they have an election in Ukraine? That’s not casting aspersions on anybody, but they do have a massive corruption situation going on there… People are asking this question, ‘When do they have an election?’ Are they gonna have an election, or are they gonna just keep it going like this? So, I think it’s time to get that war settled, and I think it’s a war that can be settled. But it takes two to tango.”

Who Won? Elon Musk Debates Don Lemon Over the Impact of DEI Programs Lemon repeatedly said, “There’s no evidence” that DEI programs are lowering medical standards, a comment Elon Musk believes is a “false statement.” Who is right? Musk calls on Community Notes to settle the score. LEMON: “There was a repost of Ben Shapiro that you claim that DEI is killing people. Specifically, you point to medicine. You claim that DEI programs are putting people at risk. Do you really believe this to be true? And what evidence do you have to support it?” MUSK: “What I was referring to there was that if we lower the standards for doctors, if the test for a doctor is lowered, then the probability of them making a mistake and killing someone is obviously going to be higher.” LEMON: “Wait, say that again. I’m not sure I understand what you said. I want to make sure I understand what you’re saying.” MUSK: “Yes. If the status for passing medical exams and becoming a doctor, especially something like a surgeon, if the standards are lowered, then the probability that the surgeon will make a mistake is higher. They’re making mistakes in their exam. They may make mistakes with people — and that may result in people dying.” LEMON: “What evidence do you have, though, that they’re lowering the standards? There is no evidence of that.” MUSK: “I believe there is.” LEMON: “There’s no evidence of that, Elon. What is the evidence?” MUSK: “I believe they have literally lowered the standards at Duke University, and that is what the article was referring to. You are saying they have not lowered the standards?” LEMON: “There’s no evidence about lowering standards. And I think that there is —” MUSK: “I believe that is a false statement you’re making.” LEMON: “Okay, well, we’ll figure it out.” MUSK: “The interesting thing is, when this is posted on the X platform, there will be a whole bunch of things that rebut what you said and what I said. And so people can then make their own decision, based on the replies and the rebuttals and the community notes.”

I think the presenter is on to something big, but where I disagree with her is that she accuses African leaders and gives a subtle pass to African citizens. It is not true that African citizens were oblivious to what Trump or Epstein are. They knew, but they simply did not have the ability to think critically that when Trump talks about LGBT issues, it is not necessarily that he does not support them, but that he understood there is a group of foolish people out there who would buy into that rhetoric without interrogating why he was deploying it. Some of Trump’s best friends, like Peter Mandelson, are gay, yet some Africans were foolish enough to believe that Trump is anti-gay. He simply understood how human beings operate, that there are times when people fail to think, a tragic failure to think, and they just go with the flow. If you ask Africans today what they gained from the perceived homophobia that Trump projected, which we know was political theatre targeted at a particular audience, they will not be able to tell you. Trump might be many things to many people. I do not like him and everybody knows that, but the one thing I respect him for is that he understands his audience. He knows what to say when he is talking to foolish people. He knows what to say when he is talking to idiotic people. He knows what to say when he is talking to sycophants. He knows what to say when he is talking to people who do not understand the world of politics, and he gets away with it. And for that, I give it to him. He becomes a political superstar precisely because you then have black people in Africa supporting him. That in itself shows you the scale of political illiteracy that exists, where people rally behind rhetoric crafted to manipulate them, not to advance their interests.

Trump was reportedly furious over Noem’s assertion during a hearing that he had approved that $200+ million ad campaign but she actually had told this story before and based on what the former DHS Secretary says here, it allegedly was his idea. Noem: He said, “Do you know those ads that you did in South Dakota?” Oh, and I said, “Yes sir, you mean my ‘Freedom Works Here’ ads?” And he said, “Yeah, those ones where you — those beautiful ads, you know, those beautiful ads, beautiful — you did about South Dakota. They had Mount Rushmore, all those things.” He said, “I want you to do those for the border..” And I said, “Well sir, I don’t know how that works. You mean the ones where I was a plumber and where I was an electrician? I don’t know if I can do those for the border.” And he said, “No, I want you to do those for the border, and I want you to do those everywhere — not just in the United States, but I want them around the world. I want you to tell people not to come to this country if they’re going to come here illegally.” And I said, “Well sir, we can do press conferences. You know, we can tell people what we’re doing.” And he said, “Nope. We’re not going to let the media tell this story because the media will never tell the truth. A marketing campaign to make sure the American people know the truth of what you’re doing.” And I said, “Well sir, do you want to be in those ads?” And he said, “Nope, nope, I want you to do them.” He said, “I want you in the ads.” He said, “I want you in the ads, and I want your face in the ads. But I want the first ad — I want you to thank me. So I want you to thank me for closing the border.” And I said, “Yes sir, I will thank you for closing the border.” So if you notice in that ad, we thanked him for closing the border.
