What changed? SAS had the influence to get Max Kellerman fired. He had influence to get debate partners of his choice at First Take. Somehow, SAS didn't have influence to prevent "the best NFL analyst" on ESPN from getting fired mid-contract and in the middle of a live show? Hmm

From my perspective, ESPN no longer seems like a place I would want to work. It feels like the company is constantly surrounded by drama, controversy, and public disputes, almost like a never-ending soap opera. Whether every story is accurate or not, the overall public perception has become distracting. To be clear, my opinion isn’t centered on Ryan Clark. I actually think he’s an interesting individual, and my comments aren’t directed at him personally. My concern is with the broader culture and reputation that ESPN appears to have developed over time. Even if I had the financial resources to acquire a company like ESPN, I would seriously consider rebranding it because a company’s name and reputation carry tremendous weight. While the business itself may still be profitable, the public image associated with the brand would be something I’d want to improve. That’s simply my personal opinion. I prefer organizations that are known for professionalism, integrity, and focusing on their mission rather than being associated with constant controversy.
