Most of the replies to this post are completely off track. Jews are an intrinsic part of western civilization. Jew bloodlines (from both the ten tribes and the two Judean tribes) are deeply embedded in western ancestry. Because of this I will never understand all these vocal anti-Semitic people in the West. Most of you are of Jewish origins. It is often exactly these bloodlines that created meaningful contributions to our civilization. I most definitely do not say that Eastern civilization did not contribute, but do not understand the hatred towards a group of people who should be embraced, not vilified at every turn. Look at Jewish excellence in creating a paradise in a desert nobody wanted. Only by understanding the Bible will you understand yourself. You should not embrace and empower pagan religions like Islam. The West is built on the Bible, embrace it.
