Stephen A. Smith said Rep. Jasmine Crockett was using “street language” or “street verbiage” in her political speeches. That's not liberal or conservative disagreement about policy. It was an attack. Predictably, certain groups online took it and ran with it. SAS ended up apologizing, but he gave the excuse that his words were misconstrued. smh. What did he expect the reaction to be when a black man says a black woman who holds public office uses street language or street verbiage? Did he think it had no racial connotation?
