Tim Leglar on Dylan Harper and his ceiling: “He’s a future, 1st team All-NBA player. Which, if you’re talking about guys in that level, you’re talking about guys that can be the best playing on a contending team.. He’s an absolute dawg defensively. He competes more than most guys his age coming into the league.. from the first time I saw him, even in Vegas Summer League, I couldn’t believe how hard he was playing defensively. Like obviously this matters to him, he wants to be a difference maker.. Like Brunson, he was the one guy for the Spurs that was super comfortable under pressure. That moment was not too big for Dylan Harper even at 20 years old. So he’s got all of this stuff going for him. I think within 5 years, he’s a guy that’s going to be in the conversation for 1st team All-NBA.” #GoSpursGo #PorVida

Barack Obama on the Spurs: “I love this young San Antonio Spurs team.. those guards, Castle Harper, I love those two. And Harper almost won the game for them the way he was playing. And I think Wemby will end up being as good as we are projecting. I watched him at the All-Star game.. first time I’d see him live and I don’t remember somebody that big moving like that.. That team is going to have such a great future.” #GoSpursGo #PorVida

Jeff Teague says Dylan Harper is the rookie of the year: “Like nobody remembers Cooper Flagg rookie year, like right now. With Dylan Harper playing they like “He’s the best rookie in the league he had 300 points or something he had the most from a rookie ever.” He played so well that he got an All-Star, a max player, he got the world calling this n***a sad.” (Via Club520podcast)

‼️SHAKUR STEVENSON ON A FUTURE FIGHT WITH ABDULLAH MASON‼️ Shakur Stevenson: “(The public) want to throw him(Abdullah Mason) onto me & I’m cool with it. I’ll give him an opportunity. Now, do I think he’s ready? NO. He’s a beast, but there levels…how good he’s going to be & how good he’s now. Him being as young as he is…to be in that type of war(against Noakes) I didn’t see a lot of things I liked. Offensively he’s a hell of a fighter. I think he got a lot of holes in his game though” #Boxing #LopezStevenson 🥊🥊🥊🥊 🎥: Naji

Doc Rivers and Bill Simmons speak highly of Dylan Harper: DOC: He is special, he’s a special basketball player, and he will be their second best player. BS: I was trying to think of him in the context of when Cade came into the league or Chris Paul. People like that where you knew right away. I feel like that with him. DOC: Harper finishes at angles, you know I think it was Game 5 the one where he’s under the basket.. BS: The reverse. DOC: Come on, I couldn’t have made that in a gym by myself. I could have tried that shot 10 times and I’m missing it all 10 times 😹 He’s doing it in the NBA Finals with ease. You know, it’s amazing. #GoSpursGo #PorVida

KIRSTEN WATSON: To see where Hyeseong Kim’s bat is at right now, compared to last year, how different is he? DAVE ROBERTS: He’s a confident player right now. Everyone knows how funny he is to be around and how he loves to play the game and he’s a great defender. But right now I think his swing’s in a great place. The hitting guys have been working real hard with him. He’s put in a lot of work. This is going to be his last Cactus League game. He’s going to leave us to go with Team South Korea. So we’re going to miss him, but hopefully he just keeps doing what he’s doing and we’ll see him in a few weeks. 🎥: SportsNet LA

Ty Lue on Chris Paul: “I just think it wasn’t a good fit for what he was looking for. It is what it is. Do I want to see CP go out like this? No. I have a lot of respect for him. He’s been a friend of mine over the years. You never wanna see a great go out like this. But I’m pretty sure he will find something, because he’s a great player. He’s a — you know. I didn’t wanna see it end like this.”

Giannis Antetokounmpo on his first workout with Bam in Vegas: “Worked out for like 2-3 hours. I knew he was a good player. After the workout I realized he’s not a good player, he’s a great player. Most importantly he’s a good guy to be around. He seem like a guy that’s very competitive. Hes going to demand excellence. That’s why the Heat have been good for so long. Im excited to improve our defense together. Im excited to win games with him. Im excited to be in high pressure situations with him because I know he’s a guy that won’t break. He will be right there next to you. I hope he’s excited that I’m here too.” (Via Brendan Tobin)

🗣️ Thomas Tuchel was pleased to see Declan Rice at Wembley on Saturday, despite the midfielder being ruled out of England duty through injury: “Yeah, he just turned up. I liked it a lot. “It was good that he was there. He had, I think, a long journey, a long travel to the stadium and brought his son, so that was nice to see. “Declan is gutted because he loves to play for England. He loves to be part of this team. He’s one of our key players and, of course, we miss him. “But it was nice that he showed his support, showed his face, and I think it’s good.”

Kyrie Irving on Luka Doncic: “I’m amazed. I don’t use that word lightly either… I think he’s answered a lot of calls. When Luka first came into the league, there were a lot of questions on what he was going to turn out to be. I know a few people are eating their words. Watching him ascend into becoming an all-time great is amazing and I don’t take it for granted because I played with one of the greatest of all time, arguably the greatest of all time… I want to be supportive and continue to be an all-time great next to him, continue to show him the ropes, and let him continue to fly.”

🗣️ Arbeloa: “Manuel Ángel? I have been very lucky to play with wonderful players who did not go beyond 1'70 and they were sensational. I am aware that football is extremely physical nowadays, but he will have no problems to be an elite player. He’s a player I’m very fond of. He plays with both feet, he’s got technical ability, mobility and he works hard. I’ve got a lot of faith in him, and hopefully he can keep getting minutes with the first team and showing how good he really is.” 📹 RMTV
