For most of the last two decades, our ability to make things on mobile devices has been pretty limited. We got good at writing emails, taking photos and videos, and doing some light editing. But the vast majority of our time was still spent consuming. One under-discussed shift is how much AI has unlocked creation on mobile. People are literally coding iOS apps on their iPhones now. The activation energy has dropped dramatically. This is true for Notion as well. Writing a doc or creating and managing a database used to be fairly involved, not to mention the paper cuts that we are fixing fast. The new agent on mobile has made creation 10x faster and better. And I should add, 100x more fun! In this demo, I use our iOS app exclusively by interacting with the agent. I never type into a doc or a database. I just ask the agent to make things, add things, and update things, and it goes and does it. Take a look, and let me know what you think!

Something straight out of science fiction is happening right now with OpenClaw🦞, and if you haven't used it, it's nearly a peek into the future. OpenClaw/Moltbot is a personal agent that's always on, working for you. These agents are so autonomous, they are even running their social network: moltbook This is a genuine paradigm shift. Extremely useful and honestly, so much fun to just fidget with. When I was playing with it, I realized the setup and potential security concerns could be intimidating for many. Apple Maps 3d is insanely impressive now (see video below) Google on the other hand decided to build an insanely clunky solution to display 3d maps to avoid using mobile GPUs: A Google server streams (!) a live video of its 3d rendered map to you, the result is a disastrous: a super laggy and clunky 3d view full of video compression artefacts with a response time of 2-3 seconds for every movement And I know WHY they built that, someone felt it was not inclusive to only have 3d maps that are high performing on iOS because Apple's GPUs are insanely fast and can deal with it (as you can see below in Apple Maps) but they wanted to support inferior phones, I get it But then they also decided to worsen the experience for iOS users who could easily run 3d natively on its GPU It's just an insane product decision, there's no way to cut it: they could have super smooth 3d like Apple Maps but neutered it with a clunky live stream Even more insane because Google does have native 3d on iOS in a completely different app that nobody uses: Google Earth Is 3d important? Not rly for nav no but it shows again something about Google's engineering decisions, like the redesign of the Google OAuth Login screen that made zero sense Nobody is speaking up against bad ideas in Google meetings, everyone's too scared of HR maybe, it's the opposite of a meritocracy and it's just super visible from using Google products right now

And here’s the part that keeps getting ignored… ICE agents claimed THEY had a video of the U.S. veteran assaulting an agent. But when asked for the video, no video was provided, and the U.S. veteran was released without charges. Meanwhile, there are multiple videos, and eyewitness accounts, showing the U.S. veteran being the one who was assaulted. And this is the pattern that keeps repeating… ICE agents use force and arrest someone without probable cause. The agents create a narrative after the fact. “Evidence” is claimed, but never released. Contradictory footage, from the public, circulates. And still no consequences for the agents involved. Because even after all of this, the agents are still on the streets. And the public is expected to just move on… like this is normal, like this is acceptable, like this is simply how things work now… Instead of acknowledging the pattern that needs to be addressed, and holding agents accountable.

JUST NOW on CNN: Some “legal citizen” in New Orleans is literally CRYING and hyperventilating because he went for a jog without his immigration papers and saw cops in the distance. He thought he was gonna get deported on the spot because… checks notes… he’s brown - LMFAO They’re now handing out WHISTLES in restaurants so illegals can alert the whole block when ICE shows up. This is what the left calls “community organizing.” This is what I call harboring fugitives and obstructing federal law enforcement. The operation hasn’t even started in NOLA and the meltdowns are GLORIOUS. Keep blowing those whistles. Makes it easier for ICE to find them. The Reckoning is here.

"Hah - generative ai can't even make an image of a hand with the right number of fingers.." "Stop pushing this slop" It's way past the point now where it must be clear to everyone, that generative ai is here to stay AND that the quality will continue to increase. I've been talking about this trajectory for years now, and I've been working towards finding ways to combine the strength of these models, with the best of what I love about "old-school" creation. Building with my hands, moving a pencil across the paper and seeing shapes emerge, moving a building slightly to the right to get just that composition I had in mind. Being fully immersed in a scene I'm building in VR, being inspired by the immersion to take the story in a new direction. For years I've been talking about how powerful the combination of 3d and generative ai is, be it traditional 3d, SDF volumes in Dreams or Gaussian splats - with experiments around using V2V as a "render pass" or with experiments around realtime ai. Enough talk you might think, where's the proof? It's all around us these days honestly and here's a small test I did during some OOO. Blender MPC + Fable - a pretty powerful combination! With a bit of Google Omni Fast on top as a "render" pass. What do you think of where this is heading? Hopeful, disheartened, inspired or the opposite? Can you imagine working with tools like this in a way where we still retain the human "spark" and the creative nerve that makes each persons creation unique?

I have something very special to share today! This is a hardware capture of maximqad's port of the Xash3D engine--which is compatible with the Half-Life engine--running on the Sega Dreamcast... ONLINE! Keep in mind this is EXTREMELY early in the days of the port, with no DC-specific graphics optimizations or hardware accelerated math routines yet, so performance still has a lot of room to drastically improve. Audio was literally just barely moved to the SPU for the first time just the other day too, so this is still all very incredibly new... ...but here it is! The engine that wouldn't even run without being on an emulator that also needed to emulate the extended 32MB RAM modification... now running on a stock Sega Dreamcast with online multiplayer connectivity and mouse and keyboard support! Fantastic work from maximqad! I really believe as this engine matures, it will be an incredibly powerful tool for Dreamcast developers and will potentially bring a lot of new software to the platform in the form of Half-Life engine mods!

I held an extended meeting with the military. Among other topics, we discussed the military foundation for diplomacy — the next technical meeting. We are working to ensure it takes place as soon as possible. Ukraine’s interest is not to prolong the war, but to be prepared for any development. It is clear to the world that it is Russia’s fault the war is still ongoing. Ukraine is ready to take the fastest possible steps — for a real ceasefire and the establishment of a new security architecture. We are doing all the necessary groundwork on our side. What’s needed is a reciprocal readiness from Russia – and it’s not there now, and without global pressure, that will not change. We are doing our part to maintain that pressure, primarily through our defence and active operations. I thank all our warriors for their resilience and real results.

I genuinely hate having to make this public bro, but Kanel still hasn’t paid me for my work, and is no longer replying to my invoices or requests. I worked for Kanel Joseph as his assistant, helping with production, creative development, operations, and tasks in his personal life. I’m currently still owed $2853.30 for work already completed and have been trying to resolve it privately for a while now. I completed work with the team in Los Angeles and expected payment once the work concluded, but payment has not been issued. I’ve watched Kanel for over four years now, and I genuinely would’ve never expected this. I was told payment would be made once the laptop they claim is company property is returned, but it’s not their property. Gabe purchased that MacBook with his own money, and gave it to me personally. Gabe was Kanel’s editor for nearly five years, before leaving the team. Attached is a video of the incident involving the laptop that later became the central point of the dispute. I only share this for additional context to the situation. After the milkshake was thrown on Gabe, they got into a massive argument after the video cuts. Kanel purchased a new MacBook for Gabe. Gabe then decided to give me his old MacBook, explicitly telling me “I’m giving this to you, not Kanel.” Now that I have left the team as well, Kanel and his management are saying that the old MacBook is company property “since they bought Gabe a new MacBook,” but that’s not how it works. You don’t just magically gain ownership of his old MacBook because you bought him a new one. Gabe gave me the MacBook— not Kanel, not the team, he gave it to me. And now I’m being told that I won’t be paid unless I give it to the team. I still hope to solve this professionally, but if we’re unable to, then I will be continuing to seek legal action.

I try to see everything through the bigger picture. When every screen is red, the most useful thing I do is close the laptop and go for a walk in nature. It's how I hold my conviction when everything in me wants to panic. And I'll be honest with you, because pretending otherwise would be insulting. Crypto is painful right now. It is not the gift that keeps on giving that it once was, and all of us in it are feeling poorer and feeling like shit. I feel it too. But feeling bad and being wrong are not the same thing. Nothing in the actual mechanism has broken. The business cycle has already turned. Liquidity says crypto is running cold, not dead. And I still believe, deeply, that layer 1s are the place to be... Ethereum, Solana, Sui. I sat down and wrote my full thinking out today. My up to date thesis on crypto right now, why I'm still here, and where I think the real money gets made from here.

I thought people might say things about us working together. But the more we prepared, the cooler the picture became. I’m genuinely a Jay Park kid, he was my role model growing up. So just being able to work with someone like him already means a lot, and the things we’re preparing are things nobody else but us can do. So I really love it. 🐈‍⬛: That’s how it is. 🐘: Me too. Clawdbot, now called , is hot, but sometimes you just want a simple family planner, and don’t want to buy a new Mac Mini and nerd out for the weekend just to get a family planning system running. Nori is it. Nori Been using this the past few days with my family, both on Web and on our mobile phones. It has a calendar, but an AI built in, that you can ask it to do things like “add doctors visit on Tuesday at 10 a.m.” or “book a table for us on Friday night at our favorite pizza place.” It builds an attractive calendar, but more, and lets you plan all sorts of things for the family from recipes you’d like to try, or shopping lists, and more. Very useful when planning out trips to Costco, holiday planning, and covering all those doctor and dentists, along with all the other things that go into running a family with two teenagers. It can remember all sorts of things, including wifi passwords, and can be setup to call everyone to remind them of an important event. Very handy to let teenagers know that a meeting with their teacher is about to happen. You can even have it call and remind them of chores, like they need to do their laundry. Oh, and the notifications are awesome too. This is better than trying to do the same via Google Calendar and texts back and forth. It actually feels like having an extra brain in my pocket that understands family life. Coming soon! Someone requested a sleeved version of my exisiting controller asset a few weeks ago and with the timing and the new vtube studio native controller support, I decided it was time for an overall upgrade! I still have a few kinks to work through but I have huge respect for live2d artists working on a controller asset right now because the parameters ( along with the amount of things that go wrong ) are crazy with this one. Anyways so excited for all these new updates, stick to the end of the video to see all the customization options! Interesting turn of events with Nancy Guthrie case (mother of NBC host kidnapping) The woman the FBI got the Nest camera footage from didn’t have a Premium subscription Yet without a subscription, even being disabled, it was able to record and store footage “We are tracked, they are listening, they are watching, we are being recorded” What’s happening is even if you don’t have a subscription Google is recording and storing the footage from your doorbell camera, but you can only access it without a subscription You think it’s not being recorded and stored, but it is…. Even with the camera disabled, it was recording footage and able to be recovered… “Nancy Guthrie had a Nest camera, which is owned by Google, and law enforcement initially believed the doorbell footage was lost and said Nancy Guthrie did not have a premium subscription to access video from her doorbell camera — Now, according to Google, if a Nest camera is disabled, it can still record up to three hours of event video history without a subscription. So many are wondering, why did it take so long for this video to be released? Well, it takes time for authorities to basically recover this video from Google servers, since Nancy Guthrie did not have a premium subscription that offers special features for video history. And essentially, video is continuously recorded and saved with a subscription, but without a subscription, video is saved until it's overwritten. In this case, they thought because there was no subscription, it would have been erased and recorded over because it would be sort of a continuous situation. And then that's the real issue here.
