Stephen McDaniel observed staying eerily still throughout his police interrogation after he murdered his next-door neighbor, Lauren Giddings.

Following his arrest in 2011, Stephen maintained that he was innocent despite evidence in his apartment pointing to the opposite. However, in April 2014, merely a week before his scheduled trial, Stephen McDaniel finally confessed to the murder and dismemberment of Lauren Giddings. He revealed that he used his master key to enter her apartment on the night of June 26. Once inside, he watched her sleep for a while. However, a creak in the room startled her awake, making her realize there was an intruder. She yelled at him to leave, but Stephen immediately attacked, strangling her to death. He then put her body in the bathtub and left. The following night, he came back equipped with a hacksaw, proceeded to dismember her body, and then placed her limbs in various trash cans throughout the area. In April 2014, Stephen McDaniel was sentenced to life imprisonment with the possibility of parole after 30 years.

Worst interrogation 🤌 I don't understand why people would want to avoid death by spending their entire life in prison. I guess unless you're in that situation it's easy say.
