I don't agree with Stephen A. Smith a lot, but he absolutely SCHOOLS Jay Williams here. Jay gives all these points about how Boozer is effecient and his stats are the most productive so he's better than Darius Acuff. Stephen takes it back to when Jay won the Wooden Award over Drew Gooden who was essentiall 2002's "Cam Boozer", super effecient great stats, but everybody knew that Williams was better. Exact same situation here with Acuff and Boozer and great job by Stephen A. Smith for calling it out.

This part of the debate shocked me. Atheist Phil Halper starts by telling us the LEADING explanation for fine tuning is “brute facts.” Now listen... I know that most scientists are terrible at philosophy, but still… they should at least be scientists. "Brute fact" is not an explanation. Any scientist trying to fall back on brute facts should immediately have their scientist card revoked. The entire point of science is to look for explanations, not say something has no explanation when we don’t like the implications. That is crazy. To anyone paying attention this should show you how strong the evidence for fine tuning really is. Stephen Meyer then explains why the scientific community is so biased. It's because they operate from the premise of methodological naturalism (they can only look for natural explanations). Stephen is 100% right here. This explains perfectly why a scientist will prefer brute facts over a transcendent mind, because they operate from a premise that can’t even entertain God as a possibility.
