They do this banking on the fact that their voters are uneducated and forget that their original argument to let Haitians/Syrians in was that it was meant to be "temporary." The program is literally called TPS (Temporary Protected Status). The Democrats moved the goalposts, not the Republicans, and now the Republicans are being labeled as evil when the Democrats knew their status was meant to be temporary all along. The master plan is to get these people into the country through any means necessary, get their families hooked on welfare, and create little Democrat voters out of them. People are too emotionally reactive to understand that these programs fail our citizens. Another example of failed leftist policies that the Republicans get demonized for.
