The No. 1 Pistons were in a 3-1 hole against the No. 8 Magic after back-to-back losses. Draymond Green says he was disappointed in Stephon Castle for not guarding Jalen Brunson more: “To watch a guy guard the MVP of the NBA, back to back MVP of the NBA as good as we’ve seen anyone guard him for seven straight games. Told ya. The NBA's Last 2 Minute Report confirms the out of bounds whistle on Stephon Castle was INCORRECT. In addition, NBA writer Tomer Azarly received confirmation from the league that Josh Hart should have been whistled for a foul on the Castle drive. Down 105-104 with 1:02 remaining, the Spurs were already in the bonus and the correct call would have given Castle a golden opportunity to take the lead with two massive free throws.

In yet another appearance at Spurs practice, Coach Pop held court on the sideline with most of the Spurs players in attendance. He sat with Wemby & David Jones-Garcia for a while. Former Republican Congressman Joe DioGuardi explains how Albanians who fled the Ottoman invasion and settled in Italy built a significant castle, anticipating that the Ottomans might eventually reach Italy's shores. For many of us, witnessing the recent Islamic invasion of Europe is shocking, especially since our nations still bear the scars from the last Ottoman invasion. DioGuardi's parents were Arberesh, a community of Albanians who were forced to leave Albania in the 1450s to escape the Ottomans and to this day live in Southern Italy.
