Really glad that they were able to get this interview from him before he passed. This was such an interesting and special thing to see.

Thank goodness Butch Vig wasn't present. Don't get me wrong he is a great producer and engineer and everything but, I think Steve has a very respectable opinion about royalties

We will not see another person of his integrity and caliber for a long while in music.

Steve Albini refused to take points on EVERY album he worked on for the same reasons. He was also an artist so he got it. He didn’t like being called a producer, though he was one. He’d say he was an engineer or a producer-engineer at best. #RIPSteveAlbini

He was a bad mother fucker. A by God honest, opinionated man in an industry of phony prick eternal adolescents. May his memory be a blessing.

@wanderer1982 Conan taking a minute to ask that question. Awful interviewing

Ummm. Everybody gets a fair cut/compensation if they have any input into a production. Well yes there are some industry standards to deal with. But it’s capitalism, Americana, free markets etc. here. Seems like he should’ve got more unless that payment was a hundred million. Rip

Strange that he didn't have the same ethics when it came to his love of child porn

Wow, humble to the core
