JJ McCarthy’s QB coach Greg Holcomb touches on the #Vikings last season: “(Sam Darnold) had some horrible seasons behind him, horrible… he was able through those years to put it together and figure it out… I think (Vikings fans) saw Sam Darnold as ‘he’s good’ but now we have this tenth pick of the draft, national champion, absolute stud, everyone loves him, he’s the next whatever. And so they anointed him almost like this person that would take them where Sam Darnold didn’t… we gotta give him some time.” (Via Vikings Playbook, Steve Hoikkala)

Sean O’Malley picks Ian Machado Garry to win the UFC Welterweight belt by decision 👀 “I do think there’s going to be a point where he’s frustrating Islam. He’s popping him with the jab, and he’s moving, he’s circling, he’s not engaging. He’s hitting him with it. The crowd is booing, they’re staying up until 5 am to watch him, and he’s punching and moving, but he’s doing what he has to do…” “I do think it’s going to be a little bit of a punch move, punch move, don’t engage too much, I think he’s going to wrestle really well, I think he’s going to not get his back pushed up against the fence, I think he’s going to circle, find the center, I think he’s going to shut down a couple takedowns…” (Via Sean O'Malley)

.Ross Tucker is not sold on the Minnesota Vikings and even said Minnesota isn't totally sold on J.J. McCarthy despite what they say publicly about him 👀 He pencils the Vikings winning only 7 to 9 games this upcoming season. "No matter what the Vikings say about J.J. McCarthy... they wanted [Sam] Darnold back. And then when they weren't going to get Darnold back, they wanted Daniel Jones back... As much as they're "sold" on J.J. McCarthy, they weren't that sold... so [the Vikings] have some doubt." (Via: SKOR North - Minnesota Sports)

NEW: Tesla investor Ross Gerber says Elon Musk’s “divisive Nazi rhetoric” is driving Tesla into the ground—demands he ditch DOGE or step down as CEO. “There isn’t more that Elon could do to turn off customers from Tesla. I really don’t think there’s more he could do.” “It’s people like Ned who are now keying Teslas and protesting in front of the showrooms because they’re so unhappy with the decisions he’s making in government and all the divisive Nazi rhetoric that he keeps spewing.” “So if he’s going to work in the government… work in the government. He’s obviously doing a great job, right? (Sarcastic) And if he’s going to work at Tesla, then work at Tesla. But there’s some other CEO that runs Twitter… So why isn’t somebody running Tesla?”

Here’s the full nine minute 32 Thoughts podcast segment on Matvei Michkov. Elliotte Friedman: “It’s very obvious to me that there is a problem… He’s still young…he’s a stranger in a strange land, and he’s been through an awful lot personally and professionally… I think he’s way too young to give up on unless there’s something going on there that’s so bad that I don’t know about. To me, he’s still young to give up on.” Tidbits: -A lot easier to solve the problem than trade one, PHI would be dealing from position of weakness anyway -PHI already lost Cutter Gauthier, can’t make same mistake twice -Daniel Briere needs to find a way to make this better -You can’t find guys like MM39, you gotta be damn sure you’re right if you give up on him -It’s on Matvei Michkov to spend most of his summer in Philadelphia and fix his deficiencies (
