Firing Berhalter is not really the problem to me. The problem is clearly in the leadership of US Soccer. Nothing will change until that leadership changes.

USSF tried this before, floating the idea they talked to Zidane before getting Berhalter. They’ve used this playbook before. “Yeah, we talked to the dream choice but he said no, so here’s the MLS guy.”
