The Democrats' financial advantage

It's a Catch-22. We hate early voting rules because a) it creates the 'election season' phenomenon, instead of the Constitution's election DAY, being, ya know, a single DAY, and b) a lot can happen between the day you cast your early vote and the actual election DAY😑; meaning there's no going back to change your vote if (hypothetically) your candidate committed murder 20 years ago...oopsie! But Cortez argues conservatives should play by the current rules, because if they don't they create a big disadvantage. The Catch-22? Conservatives want to eliminate early voting, but if we join the early voting brigade, we pump up the numbers of early voters, that makes it look like early voting is really popular, that makes the argument for eliminating early voting an attack on voting rights, so maybe we shouldn't vote early, but if we don't we're at a disadvantage, but if we do we make it harder to get rid of early voting... And round-and-round we go.

It's not the best situation to be in. But yes, to Steve's point, Democrats are voting this way, and it's giving them an advantage. We don't have much of a choice.

No. I always go to vote on election day. That should be the law. One day to vote in person. No early voting.

Awesome. Thank you, Jay. I’ve shared this clip because for the first time I will be voting in person, early. For some strange reason, I’ve always prided myself for voting on Election Day. In 2016 at 7:30 PM, I headed to the town center to vote for Trump and… I got a flat tire 😂 It happens. But if you watch this video, there are even more & better reasons to vote very early. It saves your candidate money that can be better spent in other ways.

Election day voting creates an unknown factor in the election. Thats not a bad thing considering how things have gone since 2020.

Why does it matter if "we go in with massive deficits"? Are absolute election results dependent on trending numbers or if you vote at a certain time your vote counts differently from another time? This is unfortunately nonsense and "entering their frame" of corruption.

What difference does it make that one side goes into election day with massive deficits? Does that actually change if or how anyone votes? I just can't imagine that changing my propensity or vote. Or is that a naive question? The only advantage I can see in "banking" my vote early is that it might head off a missed vote due to some kind of accident on or before voting day. But that's got to be rare.

I don't underdstand the point. So voting early determines who wins? Wasn't Biden behind by miles and then "stop counting" and the next day he was ahead by a mile? I'm missing the point. Someone educate me.

BS it makes no difference when votes come in you either gonna have enough or you don't it doesn't matter when it's counted or what day it comes in only way that argument holds any water is if democrats are printing fake ballots if they are all legitimate votes it makes no difference who's vote gets there 1st
