Dusty really was a bitch this season and I hated it. A LOT of ppl died along the way and Eddie is the one that causes him to turn into a permanent moody Judy?

steve and dustin having the best scene of volume 2

I'm SOO GLAD Steve said that, cause Dustin was really pissing me off cause it was always "Eddie this, Eddie that", yeah Eddie sacrificed his life for them but Damn.....

Without Eddie robin Steve and Nancy would’ve been dead tho

One of the most satisfying scene for me this season. Because I’m tired of Dustin’s obsession with someone who died for absolutely no smart or wise purpose at all.

Interesting how they dramatically changed Dustin’s character as the show went on. He was super popular online & critics praising him. Then he went from a goofy & funny kid in season one to a sour puss super genius by this season. They should have left him as a goofy & funny guy.

Too many of yall are saying “it needed to be said” “Dustin was being annoying” That is a whole child handling grief alone cuz his “friends” want him to get over having watched a friend die in his arms. Steve was mad Dustin was mourning and didn’t try to understand or help

He was being a dick to a CHILD THAT LOST HIS ONLY GOOD FRIEND. ARE YOU DUMB.

Dustin breaking over the ladder was even better. Such absolute peak scenes.

Steve is a f*cking amazingly written character So is Dustin, but my god this volume was painful by the end

with the way he was talking i thought dustin was having vecna vison because in season 4 we see vecna pose as billy to trick max

But at the same time, he probably shouldn't be saying that to someone who was great friends with him and who's still mourning his loss.

Eddie was a 20yr old drug dealer in highschool who kept failing grades. He wasn't books smart or street smart! And then he died for nothing! Just move on Dustin. Even Murray was more impactful and important than Eddie ever was!

Absolutely the best actors this season btw

Steve may have saved Dustin's life but Eddie showed him how to live it. Besides he was grieving and it's the only person on the show that actually portrayed emotions lol

He was speaking fact and clocked him!! And that saved him from his grief

Honestly, Dustin has this holier-than-thou attitude that was peak in S2 and S4 that Steve knocking him off his pedestal was a cathartic moment. Whenever Joyce, Mike, Nancy, or Robin are right, they are not boastful.

A bit of a problem, though: whether he wanted to fight or not, he wasn't getting out of it without a brawl, so Steve's point kinda doesn't get the context of why he was at the graveyard & why the boys followed him there.

This is something Dustin needed to hear but this was also Steve’s anger finally coming out. Not anger towards Dustin but anger towards Eddie for dying and putting Dustin thru all of this.

I mean Eddie did save Dustin and others

Sigh

The funniest part is he really tightened up after this speel

he literally basically says “yeah well im here n he’s not” how is that okay? eddie was his bestfriend and so is steve and now he’s gloating? He wouldn’t of been there anyway if he DID come back he’d be in fucking jail or have to find a whole new life somewhere new-

Yep

This scene was so good i ALMOST forgot what show i was watching 😭
Dustin deserved the call-out for sure, but going after Eddie's sacrifice was a bit too much IMO...

All he did was be a dick head and a hypocrite then proceeds to back track an say he was wrong. Cope

@TheAmericanGK One of the few good scenes in season 5.

duh i kept saying dustin kept being an asshole over a mf that wasn’t even important when steve BEEN his day one 💯 smh come on now

this is how it felt like

I thought the point of this scene was basically saying that they’re both in the wrong?

Can't you say the exact same thing about EVERY dead heroes in cinema and tv-shows History ? That they make a "stupid" call and get themselves killed ?

I just can’t get over how this is so clearly shot to be used in vertical promotional videos on TikTok, reels, etc. everything happening in the same point in the middle of the screen so it can be cropped down more easily

Huge fan of this scene along with them making up and Dustin being right about him not going up the ladder.
