Dems….. hang in there. Do not turn. All the GOP has to do is extend the ACA subsidies. If they go nuclear and nuke the filibuster, they own the ACA premium increases. It needs to hurt this time.

Remember when the government was closed and Republicans, including the Speaker of the House, kept insisting they would negotiate on the ACA and healthcare once everything reopened? Well, Trump‘s plan to extend ACA subsidies is now on hold after GOP pushback. This makes it clear they never planned to negotiate at all. Republicans and Congress have zero intention of reducing healthcare costs for anyone in this country.

We looked for a way to try to allow for that pressure release valve, and it just was not to be. We worked on it all the way through the weekend, in fact. And in the end, there was not - an agreement wasn't made. Now, everybody was at the table in good faith, and I certainly appreciate the views and the opinions of every member." Full video here:

I believe the reason was that they were just better individually. Tactically they were okay, but they played normal. I think individually they were on a much better level today. This happens. We didn't win a single pistol, I think, or maybe one. No, there is no excuses. They are the better team today. They deserve to win. They deserve to go next. We didn't show up to our level today and we just got humbled. And they need to step up a little bit for the future."

If they get their way, the new insurance rates for 2029 (without the subsidies) would come out a WEEK before the 2028 presidential election. They want higher rates to hit right before voters go to the polls. This is a Democrat-made crisis, and they refuse to work on real reform.
