Steven Adams is a saint… When asked about Draymond Green: “It’s highly competitive out there. People are just playing really hard. Sometimes things happen. It’s not ill intentioned. I think you’re just trying to win”

I hope the Warriors find a way to sign Adams in the offseason - he would do wonders next to Curry/Butler/Draymond and that would be an automatic path to another title

He is a stand up dude that gets it. Houston doesn't deserve him. They are a bunch of fake thugs that cry when you hit them back in the mouth

"Playing hard is a skill. Because if it wasn't, everyone would do it." You think playing hard is about talent? It’s not. It’s a decision. You want to stand out? Then play hard. Not sometimes—every time. So ask yourself—are you playing hard, or just playing?

Draymond Green says players who flop, don’t win championships: “Guys that flop, don’t win. You just got floppers out there, they don’t win. So y’all can stop calling SGA a flopper, because he’s a champion. I can tell you floppers don’t really win. It just don’t happen. Worried about them flopping? Play better defense. If not, shut up.” (Via The Draymond Green Show)

Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green called out Jonathan Kuminga after the game 😳 Jimmy: “if you’re not getting stops, then you’re just not playing hard and doing whatever it takes to win.” Draymond: “everyone has a personal agenda, but does that agenda fit in the team confines?”

🥀 it’s not really a matter of being mature or immature and it’s not a matter of being an adult or not being an adult either honestly everyone just has their own way of dealing with things 🥀 so when my friends or anyone else comes to me because they’re having a hard time and asks for advice, i rarely say things like “it’s nothing” or “it’s okay things will work out” 🥀 i don’t really say things like “hang in there, you can do it” either because when you’re really having a hard time i think you need to fully feel those emotions and really let yourself sink into them 🥀 i don’t know at least that’s how i see it because it’s not really something someone else can solve for you

A young woman asked me about advice for young Republicans. I ended with my view: it’s not just about calling people out, it’s about calling people up. There’s a difference.

Ben McCollum: “I think you win enough games and you kind of think that you’ve arrived to a certain level. You forget that it’s still the Big Ten. It’s still a tough league. That’s part of it. I thought some of our guys were really ready to go. But it’s part of also building what we’re trying to build is the ability to be ready every single day. We’re just not there yet. That’s part of the build. It’s not going to just happen.”

The Wanting vs. Deciding Reframe Scott Adams “There are things you want that you’re probably not going to work that hard on, it’s just something you want. But the things you’ve decided, you’re probably going to get because you won’t stop at anything to get them.”

“It’s not just about me, it’s the people around me. They’re not just yes men, it’s not a bunch of people that are just willing to do anything you say. These people really want to see me succeed… That’s enough about me, let’s ask about my team” - Anthony Edwards

SNEAKO GOES OFF on ExtraEmily for saying Twitter is full of women-haters and misogynists. 👀 “It’s not hatred, it’s just a little funny. A lot of people think that’s goofy. If it’s all misogyny, I think you’re coping. Most people think it’s a little weird. It’s not really normal for 30 year old women to be doing that.”

“It’s ok if you’re just average right now. I just want to know whether you want to become great. Because there are a lot of people who are ok accepting average. They think it’s safer and more comfortable. They think trying to be great comes with a lot of risk. They think it’s too hard and they might get exposed. People think it’s easier to be average than to go try to be great. There’s more friends, more acceptance, more comfort among the average. But I’ll tell you the real truth: Being average is only safe and comfortable for a small window of time. Because at the end of the regular season, when that final whistle blows, and you’re not playing for a championship? How comfortable is that?”

Does anyone else think it’s insane just how hard these people are trying to convince others that going to a workplace for 4 days is the end of the world? It’s madness.

When you are a non-binary woman, it’s just annoying when people don’t respect not using the word “girl” unless they know you. You can be a they, but only sometimes a she. It’s not that hard.

Kawhi Leonard on the NBA’s 65-game rule: “It’s great for the league trying to stop people just from sitting. But like I said before, I don’t think that rule is changing anybody to play if they’re really hurt. I don’t think it makes sense to just try to go for a game if you’re in nagging pain. It’s something you’re trying to keep under control. It is what it is. The healthiest guys play. That’s just how the ball rolls.”
