‘Steven Universe’ ended 5 years ago today.

i remember watching this when it released and being convinced it was 3D animation ... but no it's just THAT SMOOTH

James Baxter is a beast of an animator. His sequences just feels so fluid and his sense of timing inspires entire studios.

One of my favorite parts of modern cartoons is when the show runner gets to go "Oh no, this scene is important. Pay the for the really, really good animator!" and we get scenes like this.

The is scene was probably the most beautifully Animated sequence in the whole show 😭

I like to think that Pink Steven Stills have little parts of Rose/Pink and this is the First and only time she saw her son. But at the same time, they are the same being so pink Steven is Just happy to find his another half.

Everything about this was beautiful and wholesome, such a well done, emotional scene And also a great finale for one of the greatest Cartoon Network series

I love SU and I don’t care what stupid haters say. I still think it’s the best CN show of all time. Plus I would rewatch the whole series again. ❤️💎⭐️🏳️‍🌈
