What’s worse is that “timeout” was the 3rd most egregious error by the officiating that night. The TD taken off the board before half was a giant swing. It honestly doesn’t bother me anymore because Auburn was bad but it could have meant a bowl game.

Listen to the audio, he says ‘they are clapping’ and follows up with ‘they are mf clapping’. He never said he didn’t try to call a timeout. Auburn was clapping and should’ve been called for delay of game - disconcerting signals multiple times during the game. Do better.

What did he get away with lol? He called a TO to tell the refs the defense is clapping, which is a penalty. The refs then gave him back the TO, which is on them, not Kirby. Also, I believe Georgia had a fumble recovery for a TD that wasn’t given to them 🤷🏾‍♂️
