This play gives me chills and chokes me up because I knew the Chiefs were going to the Super Bowl, finally fulfilling a promise I made to my Uncle Ed, five months before his death in 1977.

All I could think about was all that losing, and all those times this team ripped my heart out. And in this moment how much it was all worth it. Never, ever going to experience that again. And it was worth it.
