Not many shear that way any more, My Dad used to shear like that and that's the way I first learned, but then Godfrey Bowen, came along and we all learned the other way.

Not quite ,still had to kneel on it to Finnish the back end .Old age creeps up on you ,I’ve got the same problem😥
