I used to draw that stuff by hand back in the 70s and 80s 😅

Aesthedes 2D/3D Design Computer - plotter unit.... I worked with one in the late '80's. All major Auto Manufacturers worked with them.

I used to fix pen plotters as part of my job, spent hours watching them for juddering or dropping the pen.

I loved watching the old HP Plotters! The little pen grab (always 2 attempts) and then the whole mechanism. 👍🏿👍🏿

Plotters still rock. I should really slap pen in my 48" vinyl cutter for yucks.
