the haptic feedback when popping into a submenu is extremely satisfying

multi-level radial menu for one-handed use sounds dangerous. i’d definitely fumble and click the wrong thing three times in a row.

You don’t click anything. Just don’t release your finger

this is for mac? I was thinking of doing something similar but AI focused for using codex or claude

I have both Mac and touch, but most of these design decisions are made for touch - where you have no click or modifier keys to hold. That’s the reason behind the “push” to enter, you can do it in one action without releasing your finger (which is how you select)

Same with the arc. It’s designed for your thumb covering part of the screen. Similar with tooltips. They follow the finger to ensure they are always visible

It's easier to click on it.

well then the menu would close. It selects on release, it's only visible while your finger is down ... it's for mobile not desktop. There is no click nor modifier keys

Then it's amazing.

That's the exactly why Unix made everything through the cli, so many unnecessary movements
