i actually really like these movies even though they arent as good as the originals and have tons of bloat and obvious green screens. I just love this world lol. Wish I could say the same for RoP though, but excited for The Hunt for Gollum.

The Hobbit trilogy is a good trilogy compared to a lot of other fantasy movies. But they were being directly compared to the GOAT of fantasy movies

Won’t say how many times I watched this to hear Over Hill kick in (before the OST was released) — too bad the Misty Mountain theme wasn’t used in the other two

I still watch this one from time to time.

Oh what could have been. It should have been 2 films instead of 3. Would have made it a super tight and rollicking good time and worthy of its predecessors.

I LOVE these movies. The Hobbit has always been my favorite book. They're not perfect but I'm so glad we got this in movie form.

The movies were underrated. There were good and had some of the silly Tolkien esthetic. But I mean how could they ever reach the heights of the original trilogy.

I never saw the trailer before and I watched the movies like 50 times I can't believe how beautiful the trailer looks I never saw Bilbo looking at the Narsil before, is this scene in the movie or just the trailer?
