Oh my gosh I had a similar argument back when they first deployed Thaad to Guam with my aunt's new husband. He kept trying to argue with me and tell me all about artillery and the history of it in battle and how this move was only going to increase tensions with North Korea because we put dangerous missiles which could wipe that entire city so close to them. He is a college professor so you ask him what time it is and he tells you how to build a clock. That's the kind of person he is. I couldn't get him to comprehend or admit that he didn't know what he was talking about and air defense is defensive hence the name air defense. My husband's response was, "Why am I never around for idiots like that?" He said it was a good thing because he would have had that guy feeling and looking like an absolute idiot when he was done. Would have been nice to see but he was in Guam. 😂 It also would have been nice to see because my aunt's husband decided that the reception area of the funeral home was the appropriate place to have this conversation. Idiot.

I would like to thank the "Hooah Trinity" (Yourself, @RyanMcbeth and @Cappyarmy) for keeping me better informed than 95% of the world population when it comes to all things military, so I don't go making a big dumb like the gentleman you're replying to.

...anti-missile defense sites being located in the areas being attacked are a war crime now? Also, isn't that an admission Hamas went to war with Israel and considered residential areas legitimate targets from the outset?
