A mother went to prom as her son’s date and even called herself Jessica Rabbit. She justified it by saying her son once promised he’d take her since she wasn’t married and “looked nice.” This isn’t cute, it’s disturbing. If a father did this with his daughter, he’d be labeled a predator instantly. This is what people mean when they say “son husbands.” Parents should be parents, not prom dates.
