She justified it by saying her son once promised he’d take her since she wasn’t married and “looked nice.” This isn’t cute, it’s disturbing. If a father did this with his daughter, he’d be labeled a predator instantly. This is what people mean when they say “son husbands.” Parents should be parents, not prom dates.
