I am not a politician, or an expert. I am just someone who realized I did not have enough information, so I went to listen. What I saw last night surprised me. Not because of anger or extremism, but because of how many regular people showed up to ask questions and be heard. Whether you want something to happen or you do not, it works the same way. Open dialogue. Listen. Talk to each other!! From what I saw, this conversation has a very real chance of going to a vote. And no matter which side you are on, being informed and having all of the information matters. Stop voting red versus blue and vote for yourself this time… You do not have to agree. You just have to be willing to listen. If you want information on meetings so you can hear it for yourself, follow Rise Of Alberta Conversation is not dangerous but silence is..🤷🏻‍♀️

Shoving yourself into a position you can’t access without a lot of compensation usually isn’t the best idea if you have knee pain. To be clear, I think the Knees Over Toes approach has good qualities to it. This is not an attack on the methodology or the people involved in it. However, this is a critique on how this exercise, and many like it, may not be the best choice for many people. Some can and have seen success from these programs, but I’ve met a whole lot who haven’t. If it works for you, that’s awesome. Keep going. But if it doesn’t, then it may be time to try something different.

How many times I’ve gone to the checkout (after trying to be forced into self serve) to now not be greeted with a smile, but the mandatory, little interested “How are you, or how’s your day going”. The biggest mistake I see people make when they start carnivore is the same mistake I made. Trying to do everything perfectly from day one. That is not a plan. That is a setup for failure. Here is what actually works. Stop trying to be perfect and start adding in the good things. More meat. More eggs. More real food. That is it. Something really cool happens when you do that. The more good things you add in, the less room there is for the things you are trying to crowd out. You are not white knuckling it. You are not depriving yourself. You are just filling your plate with better and better things until there is no space left for the rest. Progress is not just good enough. Progress IS the goal. You do not have to be perfect to change your life. You just have to start. 👑
